Meet the Torto Environmental Group

The Integrated Fire Management Tactical Group is made up of forest firefighters from the Torto Environmental Group (GAT). Now with a new structure, but always committed to preserving the environment, our work will primarily focus on preventing, monitoring, and fighting forest fires.

Environmental Education

Environmental Education – At Grupo Ambientalista do Torto (GAT), we believe that protecting the Cerrado begins with knowledge and action. We bring environmental education to schools, communities, and volunteers, demonstrating in practice how every action counts. Together, we inspire change and develop guardians of nature.

Recovery of Degraded Soil and Reforestation

The Torto Environmental Group (GAT) works to restore life to degraded areas of the Cerrado. Using soil restoration techniques and planting native species, we restore ecosystems, strengthen biodiversity, and protect springs. Each seedling planted is a step toward a greener, more sustainable future.
